WA - Lincoln Park Slug Box moved!!!!!

I shanghi'ed Bill Burk and did the The Lincoln Park Series a couple of
weekends ago. Nice series but we had one problem. In the #2 series the last
box Planted Sept. 2001 By Pam and Andy: Seattle Muddle Puddle Trotters, #3
Slug Box was found it in its hiding place submerged in water. After dawning
the deep sea diving equiptment and fighting rabid salmon it was retrieved
safe and sound and just a bit damp. So there we stood on the hillside, hands
dripping and salmon jumping out of the hole in the tree trying to get a
piece of us. Maybe they were steelhead, I dunno but we couldn't put the box
back in the same hole. Our oxygen tanks were empty! What to do!

The clues take you up the hill and then a right to the water well uhhh I
mean tree you hid it in. Now when you take that right on the hillside, just
steps away is another tree with Ivy growing on it. Inside a crevice under
leaves is the box. When standing looking down at the tree there is a stump
just behind you.

Only thing we could think of doing. After eating pages out of the first book
in box #1 we weren't thinking too clearly! Like wow dude, those fish had big
teeth!

Well, that explains it. We went looking for the slug this past weekend and couldn't find it -- even after looking in every forked tree on West Seattle.

(...and to think I made the Catbird stick his arm into that dark frightening pool of water for nothing!)

Now I'm going to have to go back to that great park...
